An impressive National Day celebration took place this year at the private residence of France Ambassador in Jaffa, for whom it was the last official appearance before returning to Paris at the conclusion of his diplomatic mission.   Hundreds of guests among which many CCIIF Members had come to bid farewell and express their appreciation to H.E. Frederic Journes whose tenure and personal style have marked the French speaking business and general community. This apotheosis evening made it a very special 14^th of July, an occasion for many to meet again or for others to make acquaintance against a backdrop of charming songs. After an intervention of French MP Caroline Yadan, the Ambassador’s speech recapped in warm words his three years of very positive experience in spite of all the difficulties he had to cope with almost from Day #1, the results attained nevertheless thanks to the “France Team” around him, to conclude with his deep sympathy for Israel, for its citizens and for the Jewish people. A moment to be remembered.

CCI France International federates 121 binational French Chambers of Commerce and Industry throughout the world, and gathers once a year their chairmen for a General Assembly where Julien Roitman represented Israel. The first session took place at Quai d’Orsay, France Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, starting with a round table on Middle-East with CCIIF Chairman, Morocco-France Chairman and Dubai-France Chairman. Beyond the debate, it is interesting to note that a number of participants came later to Julien Roitman and expressed (privately) to him their positive and sometimes even supportive opinion on Israel.

Also participated to the Trophies Gala which followed in the evening under the leadership of Frederic Sanchez President of CCI France International, several political staff and senior civil servants, like Nicolas Forestier Minister of Foreign Trade, Senator Sophie Briante Guillemont who had visited us in Tel-Aviv last November, Senator Olivier Cadic who is very close to the CCIs worldwide, Louis Margueritte the GM of Business France, Sophie Sidos-Vicat President of the CCE and many others. A good occasion to mark Israel’s presence in the international arena.  

Magen David Adom Exports Its Technological Expertise Worldwide: Exclusive Visit by Chamber of Commerce Members on Wednesday, July 22, 2026

RAMLA — Julie Benichou and Danielle Braunstein, members of the CCIIF Chamber of Commerce, alongside a delegation of international Chamber of Commerce leaders, were received at Magen David Adom’s (MADA) headquarters in Ramla to discover the technological innovations revolutionizing emergency medical assistance.

A global pioneer in medical response time, MADA is taking a new step forward by commercializing its proprietary technologies internationally. Capable of connecting a patient with a paramedic in seconds and deploying an ambulance to the scene, often in under 2 minutes, the Israeli organization boasts world-leading performance.

Facing dramatically long response times in most countries, delays that cost lives daily, MADA is looking for partners to help introduce their solutions locally. Negotiations are currently underway with the municipality of São Paulo to implement these cutting-edge emergency systems.

With the support of international trade networks, MADA aims to export this model of excellence to drastically reduce response times and save lives across the globe.

It was a pleasure to host the third CCIIF After-Work event at the Institut Français of Tel Aviv on May 13th. This session was a success and provided a new valuable opportunity for CCIIF members to meet, exchange, and strengthen connections within our community. The evening allowed participants to better understand each other’s activities and explore potential collaborations. We had the privilege of hearing Anat Tsour Segal. Anat is a venture capital investor and company builder with over two decades of experience working with early-stage technology companies in Israel. She is Founder, Board Member and former CEO of Xenia Venture Capital, former CEO of Capital Nature, and currently Advisor to the London-based family office Consensus Business Group. Last, Anat is also a lecturer at the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship at Reichman University, mentoring entrepreneurs through various accelerators and entrepreneurial organizations.

CCIIF 2026 General Assembly took place on July 6th at the headquarters of Manufacturers Association of Israel  in Tlv, where we had the privilege to hear our host Avraham Novogrocki, recently elected as the new President of M.A.I.

Avraham holds an MBA from Bar-Ilan University and combines a technological background with 4 years of service in the Israeli Air Force, working on the fire-control systems of F-15 aircraft. He began his career in 1983 at Scitex, and became CFO of Scitex Israel. In 1996 he joined Packer Steel and was later appointed its CEO, in 2008 Africa Israel Industries as CEO, and served as CEO of Africa Israel Investments & Properties. Since 2018, he has served as active Chairman of Had Asaf Industries, as external director at Dan Amad Real Estate and Dan Equity, and later as Chairman of Kal-Kar Ein Carmel, being also a private investor alongside his business activity.

Novogrocki is since 2022 the Chairman of the Metal, Electricity and Infrastructure Association within M.A.I. and a member of itsPresidium. In the public sphere, he is a member of the Board of Trustees of Hadassah Medical Center Jerusalem, Laniado Hospital, and Ariel University.

We closed our sesson with the intervention of Stephane Goldin, Stephane is a Reserve Lieutenant Colonel and former commander of an elite IDF unit. A Strategic advisor for various Israeli institutions and organizations, a Security and Defense Analyst in various media, Stephane is recognized as a brilliant analyst of Israel’s environment.He is also the Delegate of Keren Hayessod for Luxembourg and Belgium.

The visit is seen as a strong foundation for future partnerships between BGU/BGN and CCIIF.
